20 Morihei Ueshiba - The Art of Peace
Remember the last time you had to deal directly with conflict? Many of us feel the uncomfortable and abundant emotions that come with it and avoid it as much as possible. The art of peace is a more positive and more healthy way to approach these difficulties.
This show is exploring some of the teachings and wisdom of Morihei Ueshiba, originator of the martial art Aikido and author of The Art of Peace. His teachings cover so many topics, including the way of the warrior, the holistic training of Aikido, and how to be at peace with the world. In this podcast, I read some of my favorite excerpts of his and talk about the influence he has had on me and on others.
Conflict is difficult to deal with, and there is no magic bullet to make it easy. The art of peace, however, can turn those hard times into more compassionate, productive, and peaceful experiences.
Learn more about Morihei Ueshiba and the wisdom he's shared to help us be more loving to ourselves and others today!
